Our Company

We are Mark and Susan, co-founders and owners of Log and Timber Living. We are a family-owned business and independent dealer of Honest Abe Log Homes.

We started Log and Timber Living in the Spring of 2014, shortly after beginning the process of selecting a log home manufacturing supplier to partner with in the construction of our own log home, situated in Point Blank, Texas, on Lake Livingston, just one hour northeast of The Woodlands. After an extensive search, meeting with several log and timber frame manufacturers, attending a Log & Timber Home Show & University, we both agreed on who we felt was THE best company... Honest Abe Log Homes. In fact, we were so impressed with the company AND the people behind it, we decided to become their independent dealer here in Texas. That is how our journey began.

Today, we are busy building our own log home on Lake Livingston, as well as helping others realize THEIR dream of doing the same.
